Maria and Sebastian had a micro wedding in Adelaide surrounded by their nearest and dearest with family from Colombia connecting in via Zoom.
I do love an international wedding! I adore experiencing other cultures and seeing how others add beauty and meaning to their wedding day. And so when Maria and Sebastian approached me at church to ask if I would capture their special day I was thrilled! I must admit I have a soft spot for South American people and their weddings too.
One of the main things I loved about this wedding was how there were so many of their friends and family who had a special role to play during their day. It was a community and family affair that resulted in many happy tears throughout their ceremony.
Maria and Sebastian obviously love Jesus and so a time of worship and acknowledging their love for Him was very important to them.

The Location - Weigal Oval
Maria and Sebastian chose Weigal Oval in Plympton for their micro wedding in Adelaide location. Although there were school baseball games going on outside being a weekday, I adored the architecture of the building and the natural light that streamed in through the huge windows. It definitely made my job of capturing this day easier! We headed out to find a few shady garden spots after the ceremony for a few bridal portraits.
Bridal Portraits
As mentioned above, after a time of connecting with their friends, Maria and Sebastian had their group formal photos and then a few bridal portraits taken on the grounds of Weigal Oval before heading off to a lunch north of the city.
