Real Wedding: Raphael & Alanah's Adelaide Wedding Photos at Our Place, Willunga Hill.

Raphael and Alanah's wedding was a gastronomical delight of 8 courses at the amazing Our Place, Willunga Hill - (Wedding Location Adelaide).

Raphael and Alanah immediately stood out to me when we had our inquiry call. They were vibrant and fun and I had no doubt that their wedding and marriage would be something special. I was especially excited when they mentioned that great food was at the top of their priority list and that we would all be having 8 delicious courses at the beautiful "Our Place" in Willunga.

Getting Ready

During her prep time, Alanah was surrounded by her family and watched over by her super cute fur baby, who of course had to make an appearance in the photos! We also did a sneaky bridal boudoir session for Raph which will have to remain for his eyes only :)

Raph got ready at the Oaks Plaza Pier Suites in Glenelg with his groomsmen. The room was spacious and the ocean view over Glenelg Beach was amazing. Josh of J Willsmore Photography helped me out on the day and captured the gents prep while I was with the ladies.

The Ceremony

Our Place is an Adelaide wedding venue with it all. As you walk towards "our Place", the first thing that captures your attention is the incredible view! Raph and Alanah did the right thing by keeping their decor simple as really, with a view like they had, you don't need anything extravagant. Two simple floral columns created by Alanah's mum did the trick and they were all set to go.

The audio and the sound for the ceremony were provided by Jesse of Double Trouble Entertainment. The celebrant who officiated the wedding was Carolann Evans.

The Reception - and most incredible meal!

There are a few things that stand out at receptions. Great food and awesome entertainment are two of them and Raph and Alanah had them both!

To start, the team at "our Place" are so lovely and even as vendors we felt so cared for. One of my favourite parts of the day was when the owner and chef arrived at the reception room with a pig on a rotisserie fork to explain the various courses were were going to experience. And let me tell you, we rolled out of there with hearts happy and tummies full!

Jesse from Double Trouble Entertainment again outdid himself with the entertainment and wedding games. I don't think I have laughed that hard at a wedding game and he really had everyone participating and having an amazing time.

Bridal Portraits - in the heart of Glenelg

After the reception was done, there was time to head down to Glenelg for some fun, urban style bridal portraits. We dropped all our gear off back at the Oaks Plaza Pier Hotel and headed out into the streets. I had so much fun with these and it was so refreshing to shoot some really funky images. Glenelg is an amazing place for photos, with so many hidden gems. We spent a whole 2 hours exploring taking photos and finally ended up on the beach for a few sunset portraits. If anyone would love to do this again, I am all game!
