Surrounded by glorious gardens, Hayden and Tara tied the knot at the gorgeous Al Ru Farm (Wedding Locations Adelaide).
Hayden and Tara found me on Facebook after a bit of a rocky start to their wedding photographer planning. And although I was gutted that they had to go through the stress they did, I am so happy that we connected and that I could be there on their day to help them. They are the most wonderful couple and their wedding day was a blast!
Getting Ready
One of the great things about Al Ru Farm is that it is a venue with so many picturesque getting ready spaces. From the cottage (where Tara chose to get ready), to the loft rooms, you really are spoilt for choice. The cottage has really beautiful features and created the perfect beginning setting for Hayden and Tara's day. Hayden chose the main house front room for his prep. Both spaces were filled with glorious natural light.
The Ceremony
Michaela from More Than Words lead Tara and Hayden through their vows surrounded by loved ones on the lawns. There were so many special moments shared. There is no doubt that Tara and Hayden are very loved and it came through in every aspect of their ceremony. After the ceremony, musicians Duality provided the background music and Dine Catering made sure we were all incredibly well fed.

The Reception
And finally it was time to really celebrate! Tara and Hayden had two of my favourite things at a reception - a candy bar and polaroid cameras! Things may have gotten a little out of hand with the polaroids and I must admit I left with a few pretty funny keepsakes myself!
But one of my favourite moments of the evening was Tara's Dad's speech. There was no doubt that he is an incredibly proud dad.
Once again, Dine Catering provided a very delicious spread and Duality had us all dancing away.
