Zack & Erin's Urrbrae House Engagement Portrait Session.

Zack and Erin, along with their super cute son Arthur, had a gorgeous autumn Adelaide engagement and family portrait session at Urrbrae House.

Having this stunning family in front of my lens was an absolute joy. Little Arthur kept us all entertained and me on my toes as we spent a good amount of the session playing with leaves, sticks and any other interesting things we came across. We spent most of our time in the lower gardens where Arthur could run and play, and where the light was spectacular through the trees. One of the things that is really important to me when kiddies are a part of a session, is to provide the space for them to play and really be themselves. It's vital to capture who you are as a family rather than getting kids to stand still for posed images.

I was a bit concerned that the rain we had been having leading up to the session would mean a muddy adventure, but it turned out perfect in the end. I'm am really excited to be capturing Zack and Erin's Adelaide wedding next year at House on Haines too.

Urrbrae House never disappoints as a portrait location. The golden colours and picturesque gardens at this time of year (any time of year really) are always beautiful. It definitely is one of my favourite locations.
